An innovative sponsorship arrangement was agreed on the football weekend of 28^th February 2009 between Oxford City Football Club and Brown Wings Clothing in order to highlight this new and emerging brand in the casual clothing sector. Brown Wings Clothing will be supplying the entire first team, who play in the British Gas Premier Division with the innovative t shirt and polo shirt brand along with headgear including caps and beanies. Since the agreement was made and the players donned their wings pre-match at home to Yate which they won 4-0, they have notched up impressive victories including an 8-0 drubbing of Garsington and recently a 2-0 away win to high flyers Chippenham.

Following the signing of the deal at the end of last month, Brown Wings Clothing Director, Andy McDonald stated that: “Brown Wings Clothing Limited is delighted to announce our sponsorship with Oxford City FC. Our unique brand and style of shirts and caps attract the sports fan market so this link with OFC will strengthen our position as one of the fastest growing fashion brands. Many football fans will be quickly looking to get their wings at grounds across the country following the Brown Wings Clothing debut appearance at home last month.
